NFL Mock Draft

1. St. Louis Rams

Biggest Needs: QB, WR, TE

Who they should pick: Jared Goff, QB, Cal

Who They will pick: Jared Goff, QB, Cal

can't pass up on somebody that threw for 4719 yards and 43 td's in the pac 12 when your biggest need is a game manager. I'm actually not positive that this is the safer pick given wentz's pro day but Goff is ready to bring LA to the playoffs

2. Philadelphia Eagles

Biggest Needs: OL, WR, CB, QB

Who they should pick: Carson Wentz( Laremy Tunsil would be good if they didn't trade as much as they did, their relying on Daniel and Bradford being bad)

Who They will pick: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State, he might not start right away as I think even daniel could challenge him but he will be somewhat worth it early in the season.

3. San Diego Chargers

Biggest Needs: DT, OL, S

Who They Should Pick: I know they need tunsil, but they also need a playmaker on d and that looks like Jalen Ramsey

Who they will pick: Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State

4. Dallas Cowboys

Biggest Needs: DE, CB, QB

Who they should pick: good thing both their biggest needs could be covered by either Bosa or Ramsey, so it should be Bosa here

Who they will pick: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Biggest Needs: DE, LB, OL

Who they should Pick: Deforest Buckner, Myles Jack has knee problems. Even if he's fine, the fact that with the third pick last year, the jags took dante fowler who tore his ACL when he took one step on the field, might be enough to scare them of Myles Jack.

Who They will Pick: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA, he should be fine and be a great value pick for the jags, should mesh well with fowler. DT is not that much of a need but LB is, also Jack has a higher potential.

6. Baltimore Ravens

Biggest Needs: CB, ILB, DE,

Who They Should Pick: Laremy Tunsil, there isn't an obvious pick that meets a need but it should be tunsil or buckner here.

Who They will pick: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

7. San Francisco 49ers

Biggest Needs: ILB, QB, DL

Who they should pick: Buckner, unless they want Paxton Lynch, Sheldon Rankins, or Shaq Lawson more this is probably a happy pick for the niners

Who They Will Pick: Deforest Buckner, DL, Oregon

8. Cleveland Browns

Biggest Needs: QB, WR, OL

Who they should pick: The Browns seem to have no problem picking players early(ie. Branden Weeden, Johnny Manziel) so I think they get a QB that doesn't look like a total waste of a pick

Who They Will Pick: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis, if they had a need for LB they might go somewhere else but they need their pick at a QB.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Biggest Needs: CB, DE, OL

Who they should pick: Vernon Hargreaves, CB #1 need and the boards were real high on this dude a couple months a go, also goes to Florida

Who they will pick: Ronnie Stanley, OL, Notre Dame Hargreaves stock has gone down and Stanley keeps being thought of as the second best o-linemen behind tunsil so not a bad pick. I've been a little down on Stanley since hearing about his non-nfl strength but you can't trust every scout, bucks take Satnley.

10. New York Giants

Biggest Needs: DE, CB, OL

Who they should pick: Probably Hargreaves or Lawson but someone else is very explosive and that might be who they need, to fight against their rivals who almost took him at #4

Who they will pick: Ezekiel Elliot, HB, Ohio State, he shouldn't go farther than here, no bust potential.

11. Chicago Bears

Biggest Needs: DE, CB, OL

Who they should pick: Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida, some people think floyd rises up here but i think the options are Rankins, Lawson, Hargreaves, or Conklin here for the bears

Who they will pick: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida, he was coming of here or in Miami. Miami would of liked him to replace grimes but he also fits well with the bears. Difference maker he is

12. New Orleans Saints

Biggest Needs: DE, DT, OLB

Who They should pick: I'll have a hard time saying it's a good pick if it's not Lawson or Rankins here

Who They Will Pick: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville, record brakers in a bad way when it comes to stopping the rush on defense, Rankins is the top choice to stop that here.

13. Miami Dolphins

Biggest Needs: CB, RB, G

Who they should pick: they could possibly trade up to pick #10 to get elliot, but at this point it's probably either Eli Apple or some other corner they like, unless their going best available on D, and that would be Shaq Lawson or Jarran Reed probably

Who they will pick: Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State

14. Oakland Raiders

Biggest Needs: S, RB, ILB

Who They should pick: Shaq Lawson, Nkemdiche is a popular lading here but it should be lawson

Who they will pick: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson, close call here but he'll be able to slip in at ILB I think

15. Tennesee Titans

Biggest Needs: RT, CB, WR

Who they should pick: Jack Conklin, plays left but sources say that he could fit in well at right. Wouldn't be bad to go with Lawson but he doesn't really fit here

Who they will pick: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State, protecting Mariota will get no complaints. There isn't much pressure here given how many picks the Titans have.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

note: I wrote that thinking that the texans had the 14th pick but they have the 22nd so I'll just keep this even though now I'm thinking they might go with treadwell

16. Detroit Lions

Biggest needs: DL, OL, S

Who they should pick: Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama, a good pick and the right pick here

Who they will pick: Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama, either him or Nkemdiche, and I can see both wearing the uniform but Reed should fit in here

17. Atlanta Falcons

Biggest Needs: LB, DL, SS

Who they should pick: Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia, ties to the school and high on everyones board at this point, Floyd has more potential than his stats show.

Who they will pick:  Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia, should be him or Darron Lee here, and I think they like Floyd

18. Indianapolis Colts

Biggest Needs: OL, LB, RB

Who they should pick: Darron Lee, ideal in a lot of characteristics of an OLB in the NFL, should succeed

Who they will pick: Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State, other picks here are a little more risky than Lee

19. Buffalo Bills

Biggest Needs: RB, CB, WR

Who they should pick: Laquan Treadwell, falling this far to get first wide receiver got to take him here

Who they will pick:  Laquan Treadwell, WR, Ole MIss

20. New York Jets

Biggest Needs OLB, OL, QB

Who they should pick: Noah Spence, it's a big need and he's got a lot of value even if this is a little higher than most mocks

Who they will pick: Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Eastern Kentucky, I still don't like nkemdiche yet

21. Washington Redskins

Biggest Needs: DL, S, RB

Who they should pick: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor, Some are comparing him to Aaron Donald. I like the fit with the redskins here

Who they will pick: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor

22. Houston Texans

Biggest Needs: WR, TE, OL

Who they should pick: Josh Doctson, TCU, they need a WR and doctson could be better than treadwell who's already off the board

Who they will pick:  Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

23. Minnesota Vikings

Biggest Needs: WR, OL, S

Who they should pick: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor, I can see this the other way around but Coleman is probably a good pick for the vikes.

Who they will pick:  Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

24. Cincinnati Bengals

Biggest Needs: WR, DT, OLB

Who they should pick: A'shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama

Who they will pick:  A'shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama, they don't need an inside linebacker, something that fellow Alabama player Reggie Ragland is.

25. Pittsburgh Steelers

Biggest Needs: CB, S, DT

Who they should pick:  Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson, a pro- ready sophmore corner that's already played in the big game in college football

Who they will pick:  William Jackson III, CB, Houston, no complaints, it's a fit

26. Seattle Seahawks

Biggest Needs: OL, DT, LB

Who they should pick:  Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana, there's a lot of good available but mainly on defense where there isn't a big hole

Who they will pick:  Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana, again a lot of defense even some that fit need #2 and #3 but this is #1 and should be addressed here.

27. Green Bay Packers

Biggest Needs: ILB, DL, OLB

Who they should pick:  happens to be good value at each of those needs but Ragland has to be the pick here

Who they will pick:  Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama, straight up the pick

28. Kansas City Chiefs

Biggest Needs: CB, WR, G

Who they should pick: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson, nice pick here, good experience for his age

Who they will pick: Mackensie Alexander, plug it in

29. Arizona Cardinals

Biggest Needs: CB, S, OL

Who they should pick: Taylor Decker is a very safe pick here and it fits a need so bring in the card

Who they will pick:  Taylor Decker, OL, Ohio State

30. Carolina Panthers

Biggest Needs: DE, CB, OL

Who they should pick: Emanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State, #1 need and looks good to do it well

Who they will pick: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State

31. Denver Broncos

Biggest Needs: OL, QB, S

Who they should pick: Vonn Bell, SS, Ohio State, a reach but if you watch sportscience you know he's the pick

Who they will pick: Vonn Bell, SS, Ohio State, it's never the perfect pick when your the defending champs but this is a good leap here.

This is what i thought if the texans had the 14th pick

Who they should pick: I heard that they might go with William Jackson from houston but apparently it's not that big of a need to make that reach. Probably going with Laquan Treadwell but don't leave out Conklin, Jackson, or a defensive boost.

Who they will pick: Laquan Treadwell WR, Ole Miss, the defense isn't the problem and you need to have someone else besides Deandre Hopkins, but can turn into Deandre Hopkins to be able to have patience with Osweiler if he's not as good as they hoped. That sounds like a good reason to go with Conklin, and they might but a firepower offense could be built with the Treadwell pick, and any tight end here is a reach.
